No wonder saplings are going up, people buy them to grow Light Ores. You need a Light Ore to start the quest to change your Divine Might-earring and because everyone wants a Suppanomimi so they be even better (whatever meaningless mainjob you have)/NINs ... on some servers Light Ore even went past the 1mil mark because of that.

 

I wonder if the gardeners will be happy in two-three weeks when the market is flooded with Light Ores and all people which want to change their earring have already done it. :D

so i fed my plants with dark crystals about 2 days ago :D it takes about a week before it asks for the first feed lol  thats a pretty long time. this means its really 3 weeks :(

 

oh well i hope i get ores

 

welp the results are in.. its not bad, altho its not so good either.

 

11% success rate, meaning for every 100 pots i got 11 ores

 

its almost just alittle better than break even.

 

100 pots = 100 saplings, 100 saplings / 12 = 8.33 stacks

8.33 stacks x 100k = 833k for 100 pots

11 ores if sold as ores, 11 x 110k = 1,210k (377k profit)

if sold as beads, 11 x 150k = 1650k (817k profit)

 

this plantation was on mules that had no mog furniture except for the pots, based in jeuno, pots in windy. planted darksday, fed on darksday x2, harvested darksday full moon.

 

ofcourse once you probly get used to doing this u get alot better at it and probly doubling ur success rate to 20% therby giving u a much better result.

 

for now I'm not sure what to grow next so I'll just wait and see :)

 

edit: the rate for persikoses is 17%, meaning for every 100 pots i got 17 stacks

so thats 17 x 20k = 340k (340k pure additional profit)
